"Dark and Twisty"

Things aren't always meant to be the way we want it to be. One moment you are really happy, only to find the next moment a bomb was dropped to shatter all your hopes; all your beliefs, you knew that won’t last, like the previous one. But still negotiating with our heart, raising above all the blackened sights, we are ready to take the challenge, face the risk that stands against us, to make ourselves understand that life is meant to be this way. Every time we are able to dodge a hurdle from our way, we feel competent enough to survive this game of life. To let ourselves feel proud of how we are winning the game named ‘Survival of the Fittest’ and how perfectly we are suited for the competition.

But between all this race; this competition, we all, for once, want to sought solace in the company of warm hands and soothing voice that speaks tranquility, but not to be sympathize, who understand the difference of what is to be praised, but not pitied. Before we even realize, all the damage is done and there’s nothing we could do, time seems to move in slow motion and we can’t make it stop. We don’t feel the need to regret because that is how we choose to repair; to glue all the broken parts together.  Call it ‘Dark and Twisty’ for that is how it is meant to be, isn't it?

Women's Pride

She was born, they groaned
She was torn, they moaned

She cried, they sighed
She was ignored of her rights.

She was born, they adored

She was torn, they beloved
She cried, they dried
She had a fairy life.

She sobbed, she hoped

She wailed, she assailed
She tried, she fought
She filed her droit.

They set off to ride

the journey of pride.
Together they unveiled
the societies vile.

Happy Mother's Day

A Mother and a Child Was Born

The dark vault was filled with light
Echoed with delight
The iciness was taken over
A  warmness formed the cover
An upsurge in her spirit
With every passing day
The bulge she felt
She screeched with pain
The pain that brought a new life
A mother and a child was born.

Walking Out Of The Darkness

Sitting alone in the dark
Searching  for  directions
Trying to feel the numb heart
She decided to, for once, let herself flow
Allow herself to get swept away ;
With the emotions.

She finds tranquility in the darkness;
she can see through the darkness;
Darkness camouflages all her scars.
A beam of light can break her,
Break her into pieces;
Unleash her Bats.
Voids of perfidy pricks as she recalls,
She knows her emotional trauma will come alive
She’s afraid, what if the walls break down?

Deep down, she wants to feel the pain
to wash that pain away;
to feel her life;
to live it;
Tired of mere existence.
There’s an adrenaline rush in her body
She stands up to step out,
where the sun rays fall upon her
burning the pain,
releasing the heat inside.

To see the rays cut through her pain
extricating her of all the anguish,
making her feel alive once again.
For all it takes is a mustered strength
to bring her back into life.
